Terms of Service

1. The service
Statohm is a town-ops and finance workspace that helps a customer assemble operational and financial packs from information the customer already has, including EDR feeds, CSV files, field papers, tickets, invoices, emails, and other well records. Statohm does not require software to be installed on a rig.
In these terms, “Statohm,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Statohm service. “Customer,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person or organization using the service.
2. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
- You may create accounts only for people who are authorized to use your organization’s information.
- You must accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy before creating an account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Customer data and instructions
You retain your rights in the data, documents, and records you submit to Statohm (“Customer Data”). You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide Customer Data and to instruct us to process it.
You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, display, transform, and transmit Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, or as required by law. We do not acquire ownership of Customer Data through this permission.
Do not submit data that you are not authorized to use, or sensitive personal information that is not needed for the service. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any Customer Data before it is shared with your users or used in a business decision.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Statohm to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, introduce malware, attempt unauthorized access, or use another customer’s data. You may not use generated output as a substitute for professional legal, financial, safety, engineering, or operational judgment.
5. Reports, automation, and assisted output
Statohm may calculate, summarize, match, classify, or generate reports from the information provided by you. The service may include assisted or AI-generated features when the relevant provider is enabled. Output can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. You must independently verify important numbers, dates, safety information, invoices, and operational decisions against the underlying records.
Statohm is not an emergency service, a safety control, a financial adviser, a drilling contractor, or a replacement for your existing recorder, crew, professional advisers, or approval process.
6. Third-party services
The service may depend on third-party infrastructure and integrations, including hosting, authentication, databases, data feeds, email, file processing, analytics, or model providers. Third-party terms and outages may affect the service. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
7. Fees and commercial terms
If we offer a paid plan, pricing, billing, renewal, taxes, cancellation, and any service levels will be stated in an order form, checkout page, or separate written agreement. If there is a conflict, the applicable signed commercial agreement controls. A free or trial feature may be changed or discontinued at any time unless a written agreement says otherwise.
8. Ownership and copyright
We retain all rights in the Statohm service, including its software, layouts, designs, names, logos, documentation, reports templates, and other materials created by or for us, except for Customer Data and third-party materials. These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property to you. See the Copyright notice for more information.
9. Availability and security
We aim to keep Statohm available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, connectivity, source-system changes, force majeure, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability. Security controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate all risk.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Statohm is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability, except where a written agreement or applicable law does not allow a disclaimer.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data arising from the service. Any financial cap, exclusions, and exceptions should be completed in a final lawyer-reviewed agreement for the relevant plan and jurisdiction.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, Customer Data, or third parties, or to address a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, access may end and Customer Data may be deleted according to the applicable retention process or written agreement.
13. Changes
We may update the service and these Terms. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the service or by email. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the updated Terms, subject to any mandatory notice or consent requirements.
14. Governing law and contact
This product draft intentionally does not yet designate a governing law, venue, legal entity address, or dispute process. Those details should be completed by the operator and legal counsel before use as a final contract.
